On the first week of American Idol Auditions a young military woman Rachel Jenkins appeared
for audition.She started out with sad story that a new husband is in Baghdad since 2005 december.She even brought her new hubby's photogragh .
She sang the song "His eye is on the Sparrow".
She sang it very well and her voice was sweet.
Still the judges commented about the problems at the end of the song.
Yet they approved and she is now on her way to hollywood.
